Wet Sensations is our second single and the second track we finished, a few months after Special. It was improvised in a matter of seconds, then fine-tuned in a matter of days. WET SENSATIONS found its near-final form in just a week. We enjoyed playing it live from the very first rehearsals, and it quickly became Sylvain's (drums) favorite song.
This song is the first to adopt the writing style of the rest of the album: the lyrics are written in the first person, taking the opposite point of view to the message we want to deliver. By writing in this way, we show the temptation to adhere to this kind of idea.
Here, consonance is written from the point of view of a killer who describes how he committed his latest crime: he kills with wet sensations. The killer is the sea that engulfs men fleeing war, and we let it. So who really is the killer?
